Beads of Courage

Beads of Courage is an international program of Arts-in-Medicine for children with serious illness. Beads of Courage helps more than 60,000 children in eight countries record, tell and own their stories, using colorful beads as meaningful symbols of courage and hope along their treatment journey. MCW members provide lidded wooden boxes for children to keep their “beads of courage”. We work directly with the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Oncology Department in Baltimore.

Check here for donations from 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2016 presentations.

The new MCW contact for Beads of Courage is Steve Haddix and we hope to provide more detailed information about participation in the coming weeks.
